The Club will once again be running junior cricket during the 2006 season following the success of the colts section last year. Owing to the need to have a full side with the right age qualifications it's unlikely that we will be entering a side to play competitive cricket in the Under-11 or Under-13 county leagues this year. However we shall be arranging friendly matches at all suitable levels - there are several clubs in the area in a similar position and we are confident that there will be no lack of suitable fixtures.
|
We take the welfare of our juniors seriously and are working towards the ECB 'ClubMark' standard. An important part of that package is for us to adopt a model Child Welfare policy - consequently we do not show images of our juniors on the Internet.

| Worried about how your youngster uses the Internet?
You should be - see this article or visit www.netsmartz.org (run by the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) which gives parents tips on how to talk to their children about proper Internet use. | ||

| The cricket club also wishes to encourage family participation and would welcome any parent offering assistance for the coaches, providing transport etc. - or just turning up to watch and add encouragement. | The club will provide a full range of playing and protective equipment (including helmets) and participants need only bring themselves and suitable clothing and footwear to training sessions. |
