Getting a century is rare enough for most of us - but getting it at 15 years old is something special. This is especially so in a League match and when your side was 8 for 4 wickets at one point! It wasn't a bad wicket - the Nondies had rattled up 256-4 against a depleted Risboro' attack - but the early PRCC batsmen made it look as if it was. There followed one of the most remarkable turnrounds that's been seen in recent years.

Showing unusually quick thinking skipper Graeme Pitt snatched the match ball away from Wesley to get it mounted and the following week the team presented him with it and copies of the scoresheet.
That afternoon Wes had taken up where he left off and scored 53 before being run out owing to a silly call by his apologetic partner, Stuart Podmore.
